Customizing your Scalarium Cloud using Chef: Wrapping up
We successfully customized a cloud on Scalarium to sport a Redis
server, and have all clients find it automatically
without us having to manually maintain configuration files. Using
the power of Chef and the Scalarium lifecycle system,
it's easy to automate setting up custom infrastructure on
Scalarium, to adapt the cloud to your specific needs.
For more details on how Chef works, be sure to check out their wiki and their knowledge base. Have a look at our collection of example cookbooks, which we're extending continuously. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions, we're here to help. Most importantly, you should try it out yourself.
