How does time based auto scaling work?

Time based auto scaling is defined per instance but the configuration panel is reached through the role of the instance.

For every time based instance you can define the times of day during which they should run. Scalarium checks every couple of minutes if any time based instance should be running. If the instance is not running already it will be started. If the instance should not be running according to the time tables but it is, it will be stopped.

All time definitions are UTC.

If you manually start or stop time based instances Scalarium will ignore your intervention and restore the state according to the time tables.

You can set the time of day on an hourly basis either for every day of the week or per day.
