I cannot start the instance "copenhagen" in my Cloud https://manage.scalarium.com/clouds/2725af1cdbf23c6e3d805ba480df1ab6

When clicking on "start" it sais "failed to start instance". Same result when clicking on the detail page (https://manage.scalarium.com/clouds/2725af1cdbf23c6e3d805ba480df1ab...) and trying to start from there.

Update: When creating a new instance in the same cloud, status stays at "Requested"

It should be possible to start the instance now.

Thx. Instance Turin in the same cloud isn't terminating correctly as well.

    What's the cause of this?

Seems to work now. Can you explain, what happened?

We had an issue with CloudFront serving corrupt content. We use CloudFront to serve packages (like Ruby-Enterprise etc). Some instances downloaded corrupted version, apparently depending on the mirror you got. We are working with the AWS CloudFront team in order to investigate what happened.

A side effect of that was that many people restarted instances and the general load was very high. This caused thing to take longer. We now have much more capacity in place in order to prevent similar issues in the future.
